Electronic recommendations logbook: what changes for employers
From 28.09.2026, the Safety Technician and Occupational Physician recommendations logbook is kept electronically in the Labour Inspectorate Information System.

Under Ministerial Decision 25548/2026 (Government Gazette B' 5833/28.09.2026), the Safety Technician and Occupational Physician recommendations logbook is now kept electronically in the Labour Inspectorate Information System.
At a glance
- The recommendations logbook becomes electronic, per business and per installation.
- Recommendations are recorded with a timestamp and cannot be deleted.
- The employer declares electronically that they have taken note of each recommendation.
- It applies from the publication of the decision, on 28.09.2026.
What changes
Every business (installation or ship) now has an electronic special recommendations logbook, separated by the person making the entry: Safety Technician and Occupational Physician. Recommendations are recorded with a timestamp and cannot be deleted or amended. If a correction is needed, a new “clarification/addition” entry is made that refers to the original, which remains in the record history.
What the employer must do
- Access the special logbook of their business and view the recommendations by category of the person making the entry.
- Submit an electronic acknowledgement declaration for each recommendation. The declaration is irrevocable.
- On building and technical works, the project owner or the contractor informs the other parties involved and the Safety Coordinator, where applicable, of the relevant recommendations.
Who it concerns
It concerns employers who are required to use the services of a Safety Technician or Occupational Physician, Safety Technicians and Occupational Physicians, as well as External and Internal Protection and Prevention Services. It does not concern employers who take on the duties of the Safety Technician themselves.
